Fault Analysis

In some cases the performance of a Fault Analysis is required by dedicated regulation. But even if there is no regulation in place, it is generally a good habit to perform a fault analysis. To investigate the root cause of a failed or broken down equipment provides specific insights in existing mechanisms that, if understood, will lead to the improvement of the reliable operation of the equipment and therefore increase the reliability of the system function.

Understanding the root cause might lead to the adaption or optimization of operating parameters or operating instructions, change of used materials or other design changes even up to completely redesigned or use of different equipment to improve the service life.

Certain aspects need to be considered and arranged when setting up the capabilities of performing a Root Cause Analysis. If you are concerned with the topic, feel free to contact us for a first exchange and to see what we can do for you to set up your systems and organizations to benefit from the results of the Root Cause Analysis.
